Book Cents Literary Agency

Christine Witthohn (she/her) is a U.S.-based literary agent, and a member of the AALA. She is a domestic and foreign licensing agent, and the founder of Book Cents Literary Agency, which opened in 2005. In 2006, she became a sponsor of the International Women’s Fiction Festival held annually in Matera, Italy, and has taught publishing workshops at Oxford, as well as brainstorming, branding, and social media classes in various cities around the U.S., U.K., and Italy. In addition to maintaining her own list of authors, Christine has been the U.S. Sales and Licensing Agent for Spanish publisher, Grupo Edebé (Barcelona, Spain); French publisher, Bragelonne (Paris, France); and German publisher Lyx (Cologne, Germany), now Bastei Lübbe, and is currently a sub-agent for several U.S. publishers and literary agencies.
