Patricia Nelson represents adult, young adult, and middle grade fiction, and enjoys working with both debut and established authors to build successful long-term careers. Her clients include NYT and USA Today bestsellers, a National Book Award finalist, and winners of ALA Youth Media Awards including multiple Printz Honor and Stonewall Honor recipients. Before joining Looking Glass Literary & Media in 2025, she spent over ten years as an agent with Marsal Lyon Literary Agency and four years as a university-level instructor of literature and writing. Patricia received her bachelor’s degree from the College of William and Mary, and also holds a master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Southern California and a master’s degree in Gender Studies from the University of Texas at Austin.
