Harvey Klinger

After receiving my M.A. at The Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins, I began my publishing career as a trainee at Doubleday. I then went to work for a literary agent for 18 months who taught me how NOT to be a literary agent, which was quite informative. A 2 year stint working with an independent publicist followed and in October, 1977, I formed my own agency and have never looked back. We are considered among the top 'boutique' agencies representing fiction, non-fiction, children's and now illustrated books in most genres.
