ABOUT ALEXANDRA LEVICK Alexandra Levick (she/her) is currently a senior literary agent at Writers House working with picture book, middle grade, young adult, and adult creators at every stage in their careers. From guiding debuts through their first publication, to helping mid-career authors who are looking to break out in new ways, and finding untapped avenues to help launch established authors into lasting success. Alexandra is a highly editorial agent who works with her clients hand-in-hand to help them hone their work to the best of their abilities. One of her goals is to make sure creators are as informed as possible about the publishing industry on the whole, so they can make the best choices for their business. And as their agent, she aims to be a strong advocate through every step of the publication process and beyond. In the last several years, her clients have won or been finalists for a number of awards and accolades including: National Book Award, Governor General’s Award, PEN/Hemingway Award, LA Times Book Award, Lambda Literary Award, Ezra Jack Keats Award, a wide selection of ALA awards, Barnes & Noble Award, Andrew Carnegie Medal, Edgar Award, British Book Award, and numerous state and international awards. Alexandra's career in agenting started at Writers House in 2015. She had the privilege of apprenticing under several agents during that time. Later on, she worked with the agency at large as the Media Rights Manager for film and tv, helping to match clients to co-agents, negotiating film deals, and taking meetings with producers, studios, and co-agencies. Prior to starting at Writers House, she worked as a bookseller in both the adult and children’s markets, as well as on the house side of the publishing business in publicity. Alexandra holds a Masters of Science in Publishing: Digital and Print Media, with a specialization in Media Content Development from New York University and a Bachelor of the Arts in English, with a concentration in Creative Writing from the University of Rochester. Alexandra has been a 2024, 2025, and 2026 Literary Agents of Change Mentor.
