Amanda Carbonell

Amanda Carbonell is a Latinx junior literary agent at Belcastro Literary Agency, before she was promoted, she worked as an agent-apprentice with Amy Giuffrida. She has previous experience as a literary intern at CMA, Inc. and ArtHouse Literary and as a freelance editor at Editing Tales. Agenting aside, Amanda is an agented writer represented by Sandra Proudman at Gallt & Zacker Literary Agency where she writes for both the KidLit and Adult space. Amanda knows firsthand what it's like to be in the querying trenches and to be on submission, which is why she makes it a point to handle each submission with care. Amanda has dreams of uplifting all marginalized voices, especially within the Latinx market.
