Anissa Dorsey is an avid fan of authentic, positive, and celebratory novels and graphic novels that are told through character-driven stories and original stand-out designs. She represents authors, illustrators, and author/illustrators for Middle Grade, Young Adult, and Adult readers in various genres... and on occasion a Picture Book. Her diverse list of clients comes from the worlds of literature, animation, gaming, and comic books. Her authors have clever and inventive stories with bold characters and strong voices for any reader to enjoy. These illustrators are experienced, dynamic, versatile, and trusted talents in the world of sequential art for literary and commercial graphic novels, covers, and designs in collaboration with authors inside and outside of Great Dog Literary. Anisssa is proud to represent clients who fearlessly create authentic works showcasing all marginalized communities, mental health, and the all-American Pop Culture licensed works. This year Anissa is entering into the world of novels and is looking for authors of romance, mystery, spooky stories, paranormal, horror, and comedy.

Accepts submissions from both Authors and Illustrators of children's and adult novels via the QueryMe portal. https://QueryManager.com/2888 Illustrators should a submit, and query with links to your portfolio or other visual work online. Alternatively, if you have illustrations and/or a dummy for the work you are pitching, let me know that in your query and I can send a request which will allow you to upload a PDF. I accept queries only via QueryManager as described above only. If we are interested in reading further we will be in touch within 4-6 weeks.
