Alison Lewis is a literary agent at Frances Goldin. She represents a wide range of nonfiction, spanning journalism, cultural criticism, history, science, and essays, as well as very select literary fiction. She began her career in editorial at W. W. Norton, before moving to agenting at The Zoƫ Pagnamenta Agency. For five years, she was also editor of the literary magazine American Chordata. Her clients have won numerous honors including PEN Awards, Guggenheim Fellowships, the Windham Campbell Prize, the Whiting Creative Nonfiction Grant, the Robert B. Silvers Grant, and long and short-listings for the National Book Awards, the National Book Critics Circle Awards, and the Ondaatje Prize.
