Lauren E. MacLeod has represented Jodi Meadows the co-author of the New York Times bestselling My Lady Jane series, actress and activist Nicole Maines, Chefs Kenny Gilbert and Rogelio Garcia, Middle East Book Award-winner Aminah Mae Safi, and former Youth Poet Laureate of the Southern United States, Alora Young. MacLeod serves on the Association of American Literary Agents board of directors, where she sits on the copyright and contracts committees and co-chairs the communications committee. Before joining ACM, she was named Vice President of The Strothman Agency. She graduated cum laude from Emerson College, receiving a BFA in Writing, Literature, and Publishing. Based in Nashville, TN, she concentrates on cookbooks, food writing and history, young-adult and middle-grade fiction, memoir, pop culture, true crime, and narrative nonfiction. In 2024 she was named a Publishers Weekly Star Watch Honoree.
