Lukas Ortiz is a Literary Agent and the Foreign Rights Director at the Philip G. Spitzer Literary Agency, Inc. For the first 20 years of his career, he worked closely with the legendary Philip Spitzer on author development and management. He graduated from the University of Stony Brook in 2002, where earned Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. In 2022, he earned a certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Cornell University. Lukas is a member the Mystery Writers of America and a supporter of PEN American Center, which defends writer’s rights and promotes literacy around the world.
