After nearly a decade working in publishing in San Francisco, Pamela moved to New York City and took a position with Knox Burger Associates. She moved to Harold Ober Associates when Knox Burger merged his agency into the Ober agency, where she worked for 17 years on the estates of F. Scott Fitzgerald, J.D. Salinger, Ross Macdonald, Glenway Wescott, James Purdy, and others, along with her own select list of clients. She has been with the Jennifer Lyons Literary Agency since 2016, representing upmarket and literary fiction and nonfiction. She returned to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2019. A former board member of AALA (2022-204) and former chair of AALA's Copyright Committee (2018-2024), she now serves on AALA's working group on AI, and the Rights Committee of BISG. From 2021-2024 she served on the Library of Congress' Copyright Public Modernization Committee.
