How to successfully present your work
Yes, I am open to Queries! My email address for submissions is: saraquery@ktliterary.com Submission Guidelines: Please email your query letter and the first 10 pages of your manuscript in the body of that email. I don't accept pitches via social media, phone, mail or on any other platforms other than email. Occasionally, I do attend conferences and will listen to pitches in person - watch this page for my travel schedule. In addition to the pitch and pages, please include your author website if you have one (it's not a deal-breaker if you don't). I represent authors who write middle grade novels (all sub-genres), young adult novels (all sub-genres), romance novels (all sub-genres) and science fiction/fantasy for the adult market. To submit a query to me, your manuscript must be 100% complete and never previously published. I am particularly looking for submissions from BIPOC, queer and/or disabled authors and authors from historically marginalized backgrounds. No, you do not have to self-identify in your email! All queries receive a response and general turn around time is 2-4 weeks.
