Jim Rutman

Jim represents formally adventurous and stylistically diverse authors of fiction, including Sheila Heti, Alissa Nutting, Yelena Akhtiorskaya, Affinity Konar, J. Robert Lennon, Eleanor Henderson, Jesse Ball, and Teddy Wayne, as well as a variety of journalists, historians and critics whose non-fiction work examines an array of cultural and historical subjects that probe and challenge standing assumptions about the world’s inner workings. He works with Jay Caspian Kang, Manohla Dargis, Carvell Wallace, Kent Russell, Rowan Ricardo Phillips, Robert Macfarlane, Doug Bock Clark, Richard Zenith, and Gary Greenberg. He has been with Sterling Lord Literistic since 1998.
