Victoria Wells Arms is a literary agent at Hannigan Getzler Literary Agency where she specializes in children’s and YA books as well as books about food and cooking, and select adult fiction. Her clients include National Book Award winner Han Nolan, New York Times-bestselling author Chris Barton, and Latin-Grammy winner Ben Gundersheimer. Before becoming an agent, she spent twenty years as an editor, first at Dial Books and Putnam, and then as the founding editorial director at Bloomsbury USA’s Children’s Publishing, where she worked with many bestselling and award-winning authors including Nikki Grimes, Shannon Hale, ED Baker, and Renee Watson. She grew up in a book-filled house, the daughter of Max & Ruby creator Rosemary Wells, and has an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts in Writing for Children and Young Adults. Victoria lives with her three children, two birds, and one dog in New York City and Ithaca, NY.
