Copyright Committee

It is copyright that gives monetary value to our clients’ work. As fiduciaries of the authors we represent, it is our obligation to understand, and to help authors understand, how to protect and profit from their property – none of which is possible without copyright. The committee’s purpose is to gather and share information that enables AALA member agents to better educate themselves and their authors on copyright protections and threats, with a focus on creating and securing the remunerative value of authors’ work.
